Valentine’s Day? More Like the Florist Olympics!

Feb 17, 2025
At The Botanist, we spent weeks preparing for the biggest floral event of the year—fine-tuning the trendiest Valentine’s bouquets and ensuring every lovebird had something stunning to gift. But nothing could have prepared us for the madness that unfolded…
The Build-Up: Red is the New Red ❤️🔥
Forget subtle—this Valentine’s Day was all about bold, bright, and unapologetically red.
🌹 Red roses + 🌿 Anthuriums + ✨ Glossy red cellophane = the ultimate Valentine’s power move. Who knew wrapping paper would make such a comeback? A total showstopper.
The shop was buzzing with organised chaos—scissors snipping, petals flying, and coffee cups stacking up as we powered through. By February 13th, we knew we were in deep.
D-Day: Countless Bouquets & Very Little Sleep
🚀 Thursday, February 13th—our biggest online sales day EVER.
💨 Hands moving at lightning speed.
🎀 Ribbons flying.
🌸 Petals everywhere.
And the real MVP? Our incredible team. 🏆 Everyone stepped up, supported each other, and made magic happen.
The Aftermath: Florists Down 😴
By the end of Valentine’s Day, we were running on fumes. The shop? A battlefield of empty buckets and wilted leaves. The team? Collapsed in bed for the weekend.
A Huge Thank You
To everyone who ordered, supported us, and left Google reviews (especially those with real-life flower photos—LOVE!). You make it all worth it. ❤️
Until next year, Valentine’s Day. We’ll be ready. 💪🌸
